THE REFLEX (dance mix)

After many years of working with different collections for a variety of projects, Laureana Toledo now turns this gaze into her own archive.

In The Reflex (dance mix) we can look into the heart of Laureana's archive for the first time, and see those images which have never been seen before. This exhibition is a compilation of portraits of many people close to the artist in different moments of her life. It also shows a different way of doing portraits and using the camera as a witness and an accomplice -not only of a whole generation of artists and musicians, but to a scene where the main character is the artist herself.

The photographs are all analogue, going from 1988 to 2025 and are shown together for the first time.
